I had CM 7.1 on my Droid 2 Global, but when I connect to my VW Jetta with bluetooth for the phone audio, it doesn't pick up my microphone. I can talk all I want, but the person I am calling can't hear me. . I am paired and connected just fine and I can place calls and hear the other person, but they can't hear me.
Please help. Until this is fixed, I am being tortured by using stock and it sucks (except that it doesn't have this bug and I can actually use the bluetooth connection to my car.)

I can confirm this bug. I found it this morning by trying to call the police, to report a traffic accident I had passed on the Interstate. I could hear the police operator, but she could not hear me until I turned off my BlueTooth headset and used just the phone's built-in microphone.

I am using a BlueAnt Q2 bluetooth headset and have made several calls without issue.

I'm having trouble here as well. I just loaded the 7.1 release onto my wife's Droid 2 Global and, while she was initially able to use her Samsung WEP490 Bluetooth, it now seems to have a dead mic. I confirmed that this is the phone and not the headset by paring it with my BlueAnt Z9i which exhibits the same behavior. Inbound audio is fine, no out bound. I am running the latest nightly of 7.1 on my Droid 2 (not global) and have no problems but I don't see anything to update to on the global. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having the same problem. For me, it's a deal breaker, since I use the Hands Free from my car sound system everytime I'm driving. If I can't use it, I'll have a traffic ticket soon.
Please fix this. The CM7 speeded up my D2G a lot. I can't believe it's the same phone, but I'll have to return to stock 2.3.3 if there's not a fix for this problem.

Anyone made progress with this? I have the EXACT setup: Droid 2 Global, VW Jetta, bluetooth mic doesn't work. Would love to fix this and not resort back to Verizon's image
