Hey Chirag have you been able to root your fire xt?
there is a great demand for rooting and a ROM for this phone I hope a cyanogen mod is made for this phone!

I will be very thankful if anyone will come up with the Rooting method for Motorola Fire XT530. I tried almost all of the methods available on net, but failed.

PS: willing to get CM mod for this device very soon in near future.

This is how to root Motorola Fire XT 530

Method works for XT 530 if you use normal superoneclick root and not the one provided in that tutorial.

You will have SU icon in app drawer after this procedure, however it will lack busybox, root with normal superoneclick root after that and launch TiBU... this will ensure that you have a successful root.


I have tried this and it works!!

Vote here for the Fire Xt530 so that we get the attention of developers as this is a very good phone but with very poor software from Motorola !
