I understand, but since it changed only changing the ROM it should be related to the  software and maybe this should be settable in some way inside some config file...... I hope. But I'm a noob.......Mates! somebody of you skilled can help in solving the issue, (if possible)?!Thanks in advance as usual friends for sharing experience! PS: after installed this HDC ROM 2.3.5 reflash the recovery.img from Linerty is needed; I also replaced the launcher with GoLauncherEx that I use and it's ok, and reflashed the zip for the borders from seahorsepip.

You can modify the keyconfig to allow unlocking by homebutton, I'm glad it doesn't since that button gets pressed easily in your pocket...

@ MrKijo

Can you do a clean nandroid plz without the Go Launcher ICS theme!

Thanks in advance

Did you try out Mrkijo nandroid? Thanks.

You can remove the launcher yourself by killing the apk and it's data..

Would be really great to have the stock launcher2 back in the ROM!, I substituted ICS launcher with GoLauncherEx in system/app and it's ok but it's not the same for the native launcher2.apk that unsuccessfully said "application not installed"...

Just install the firmware->replace the launcher.apk->create a new nandroid backup...This kind of stuff doesn't require linux xDI will see if I can cleanup his backup to original state ^^

Change:
key 102   HOME

to:
key 102   HOME             WAKE

At system\usr\keylayout\mt6573-kpd.kl, that would do the trick ^^

Make sure the spacing between home and wake is the same as the other keys with a second action appended)

Edit: I tested it and it works :D

Sorry :P fixed: http://dl.getdropbox...1/Launcher2.apk

And it was just a link typo, if you looked at the url you would have seen "apkplace" at the end and by changing that to "apk" it would have worked too ^^

First post here so hope I don't ask anything all ready covered.  Pretty happy with my HDC A9100 2.3.4 apart form the GPS issue (will try recent suggestions).  Biggest issue for me is the low call volume.  Has anyone else come across this and found a solution.

Cheers

you can adjust the call volume to make it more louder by going to engineering modejust type *#*#3646633#*#* then select Audio then Normal Mode just adjust the Max Vol. 0~160 and then press Set.

Yes, sorry but i didn't needed that gallery!

I have noticed that some of the applications like Viera remote could not be installed - it says that my phone is not supporting - but i could install that on Xperia x8 which is the worse phone from this one? What could be wrong, i have also tried changing the density of the lcd but it does not work?
And another question is anyone else working on new mode or just  seahorsepip I thought that there will be someone from cyanogen to help. Unfortunately I don't know this stuff I would help!

just follow the instructions in this post: http://forum.cyanoge...post__p__295256

after performing the nandroid restore to upgrade your ROM i suggest you also upgrade to A9100D which is more stable than the A9100C.

currently i'm uploading my clean nandroid backup for A9100D ROM. i will post the download link for it when its already uploaded.
(this is just based on Mrkijo's A9100D nandroid ROM. i just restored the default launcher2.apk and gallery3d.apk and updated the market application to google play, google voice and youtube applications and included the latest Root Explorer.)
