Kind of freaked out that I may have bricked my phone. It's stuck on the Motorola symbol at start up and won't change. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the reply Ron. I'm a noob so I'm not quite sure how to go about what you're telling me. It's locked on a the motorola screen so how can I do what you're telling me?
Thanks again Ron.

reboot phone when the blue lite comes on i think you hold down the volume button like you were going to install the rom scroll thru till you find clear dalvik and cache.

Ugh. No dice. Tried your volume button suggestion but still stuck on the Motorola logo.

I had a similar problem. Fortunately, I had used ClockModRecovery to make a backup of my entire system. So, I re-booted by holding the x key on the keyboard and pressing the power switch and booted into recovery mode. From there, I was able to restore the previous system from backup.
Then, I re-installed the latest mod, but this time I cleared all the caches. Advanced recovery allows one to selectively restore parts of a backup. What parts can I restore to keep most of what I previously had on my phone, eg. call log, apps, etc.?
