Soooo,
i'm on [ROM][ICS][IML74K] teamhacksung's CM9 ALPHA for Galaxy S (BUILD 16) since a few minutes and it feels already very good and smooth. I hope the official and complete version, with all its great features and options, will come soon!

I've been planning to test that [CM7 is not playing nicely with me , random reboots and stuff]
but I just can't live without the feature to change tracks with long press on volume rocker .. is that implemented in CM9 yet ?
if it is , then I'm jumping ships instantly XD

Last time I checked, the change track with volume buttons isn't implemented in the Experimental build after build 16

If you mean using facebook account on CM9 alpha, it's because facebook hasn't sorted things at their end AFAIK...
Where are you uploading your contacts from exactly?

I've just flashed my virgin GT I9000M (Bell Canada) with Cyanogen Mod 9 via the instructions I found http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=1379650 - It's working like an absolute dream! I couldn't be happier with it and finally running ICS - anyone who thinks Samsung is even close to correct when they say ICS won't run on this device is just wrong I'm afraid. Thanks much to the hard work of everyone on the team!

I too flashed CM9 ALPHA for Galaxy S (BUILD 17) and am impressed with it. Feel very happy about my galaxy S. Almost everything I care about works fine.
