Hello
I rooted my Xperia X8 yesterday, installed xrecovery and rebooted into bootloader.
once in the bootloader I cleared system, data and cache, then installed cm7.1.
The installation process was extremely quick.
I rebooted the system and ended up in being stuck
Sony ericcson is displayed, is not in boot loop since no animation is shown, it does not respond to adb logcat (waiting for device).
When I connect the phone the computer sees it but i cant open the SD.
No matter how long I waited it did not move from there...
Tried also fastboot, but it seems not showing up in fastboot devices..
any idea?

Was it anything to do with updating the baseband software?

Hello.
I too have upgraded my phone(Xperia X8) to CM 7.1 and everything was fine, until i upgraded Busybox from Android market, something i shouldnt have done.
A few days ago my phone completely ran out of battery, and when i tried to charge the battery, nothing happend. The led that shoud be lit was off,and on the screen the logo "Sony Ericsson" is displayed, and that's it.I cant do anything! It is stuck there(not looping).
I have tried Sony Ericsson Update through Pc Companion, and Flashtool, but nothing.
Could you please tell me how you have you solved this problem?
Thanks.

Problem solved!
I used the Win version of the flashtool.I have Ubuntu 11.04 on my computer but for some reason flashtool wasnt able to find my phone. On win, flashtool found my phone at once, and flashed it with a simple 2.1 rom.The phone is alive again!
Thanx.
