Can anyone suggest a reason for my lockscreen music controls not working? They've never worked at all as far as I remember. The controls appear, and pause changes the display to "play", touching that changes it back again, but no effect on the music.

What player are you using? I know with PowerAMP I had to enable the option to allow control of the player from the headset before it started working (I can't remember the exact name and my phone is in the other room).

Stock Music app. Actually, my main gripe is that using BT I can't control the music remotely, I was hoping that the two things are related. I'll give PowerAMP a try.

Stuck Winamp on. The lockscreen controls now work, but bluetooth remote control sometimes works and sometimes doesn't!

I can't comment at all on bluetooth. I have only used it once in a friends car for about 30 minutes (he left me waiting in the hospital parking lot when he went to go get a friend... he thought he was gonna be in and out, but he was wrong and I was there forever, so I started tinkering). Things seemed to work fine there, but that is my only experience with it (and again, this was with using PowerAMP -- I haven't used anything other than that for probably close to a year).
