Will this model (Motorola Backflip) receive CyanogenMod 9 version??

I am seeing the nightly changelog since november 15th. And I am very much waiting to see CM9 on my phone.

Thank you.

I also have a Backflip (MB300) & hope CM9 on this device too, but it might be a long wait because of low cpu/storage/ram and camera driver that they need to create for this device. Just noticed they said there is lot of changes in the framework of ICS than before, it might cost them redo lot of things and hack-offs from ICS to fit in this device.

Anyway, nose up and waiting for the final sentence ^_^

J_R0dd has done a lot of good for us Backflip users. In my opinion his roms are faster than the OEM 2.1 and bring us nicely up to date. I'm sure if it is at all possible we will see the day that ICS releases for the CLIQ/BackFlip, but J_R0dd had just gotten CM7 approved for us, and devoted his life to getting us a quality CM7 build. I'm sure he is looking forward to a break, I don't expect an official CM9 ICS for a while, at least not when the other devices are ready.

Also, the camera for the backflip is already sketchy enough, I doubt any hacks would bring our camera to ICS and it would have to be programmed from scratch. That said, if there is no camera that's okay, I'm sure a lot of us would just like the new eye candy. Especially considering once-upon-a-time cell phones didn't come with built in cameras, or web browsers for that matter.

j_r0dd said that he wont be trying to get CM9 on backflip. I lost my hopes on CM9.. hope other developers make up to CM9 for us.

I don't think the Backflip meets the CM teams memory requirements for CM9. As a former BF owner, ICS is probably gonna run like crap if it even will run it.
