Is there any beta soon?
What is your estimation for a RC or stable version?
Thanks

Last I heard, they were indeed planning an N1 release. While they don't give ETAs, I wish there was a list of what has been completed so far, and what they have yet to get working, or something. I'm dying for new information!

hate to say this, but as far as I've checked the code review, the last time anyone has touched nexus one was back on nov 14th. being now on end of jan, it will make it 2.5 months since anyone in CM team has ever thought about our phone. (being the code-name passion):

I'm hoping you're wrong but it's not looking too good is it? The Nexus One is still featured on the main page as a flagship for CyanogenMod. Having it run ICS would be a good show to Google and the rest of the community.

Beware that these roms require a change in the allocation of space of the internal flash memory which might brick your phone if you do it wrong. Search for the blackrose thread on xda for details.
I've done the above, and experimented with both texasice and meedroid ICS roms and they both seem to work ok from my limited testing, however they aren't "stable" yet. For my purposes, I rolled back to temasek's latest CM7 Kang.

Its been said before that there wont be an official release of CM9 for Nexus one.
However, there have been ICS ROMs for the N1 available for some time now... look it up on XDA.
There's evervolve's texasice, which is the most up to date one, there's a MIUI ICS ROM too, there is another one based on CM9's code + texasices..... and they're all pretty stable (main prob is the video not working yet, but most other things are working fine)

Don't waste your time hoping and waiting for an official release as it's unlikely.
Like I mentioned before, there are already roms available , based on CM and with most of the hacks already figured out and more than sufficiently stable enough as a daily driver.
I'd love to see an official release, but in the meantime, evervolve/texasice's rom does the trick
