I'm brand new to Cyanogen, Android, and this forum. VERY brand new.  I'm considering buying a Nextbook 7" or a Pandigital Multimedia Novel (no model name or number found on either)

I've searched before I posted, so please don't even go there...

I can't seem to come up with a solid yes/no answer. Is there Cyanogen for these models?

thanks

Boy, I sure appreciate all those replies that I got.   :-)

I was able to find out today exactly what model is it: Nextbook Next5.  I am looking for information on running Cyanogen on this model.  I can not find any, and I would sure hate to have to return it to the store.

Unless that device is listed in the wiki, there is no official support from CM. And the developers are not willing to make the list known of devices they are working on supporting in case something falls through.

Sometimes people will take the CM base and start porting it to new devices (which in turn may eventually get merged back into CM so CM can offer official support), but you usually won't hear about that here, as this is mainly a support forum. A lot of developer work goes on over at the xda forums. Have a look there and see if anyone has started a port for your device.

Ok, thank you.

I hope this isn't a stupid question; what is the XDA forums, and where are they located?

They are kinda the dev corner for phones and tablets. This is where a lot of the behind-the-scenes work gets done.
