Hi, I'm an LG Optimus One (P500) user, currently with the 2.3.3 Gingerbread OEM ROM from LG. Recently, LG said on its facebook page, found here: https://www.facebook...334420639902596 , the phones that will be receiving an Ice Cream Sandwich update next year. And, it looks like LG won't be releasing any ICS update for the P500. This is saddening because, even though the P500 is already a year old model, it is a good and capable phone, and has a large number of users using it because of its affordability. I hope that, even though it looks like LG has abandoned this phone, the Cyanogenmod Community will look into it and hopefully, if possible, give us P500 users a taste of Ice Cream Sandwich. Thanks.

I agree, it'd be fantastic to receive help for the Optimus One. I know it's not a great device, but it really deserves a better fate

Yes, but unfortunately they're not doing anything new. Even on Facebook... looks like still working on Gingerbread.

i hate that cyanogen doesnt have a lg p500 in the list of supported devices...

CM7 nightlies should start very soon (unless they jump right to a stable). Keep an eye out in the forums or http://download.cyanogenmod.com for it to be added (I have no idea when this will actually happen).
