I remember from long ago settings that control what must happen when power is connected and disconnected. I know for a fact that wifi is automatically enabled (for me) when power is connected, and vice versa.

So, this rises two questions :)
1) Where was this option again?
2) How about a way to search through all options?

But my original question is what this topic is for: :)
Is it possible to set an option to *not* turn on the screen when power in plugged in?

This is about CM 7.1.0 on the N1

I think the wifi options should be under the power control widget. Remove it and readd it to get all the options. And the screen on while plugged in I believe is under Settings -> Applications -> Development

Hm, there's a "stay awake" option, which does the opposite (sort of)... But unchecking that doesn't prevent the screen from turning on when plugging in power.

Happy new year btw :)

Oh, that is right. It just prevents the screen from timing out when plugged in. I don't know of any way to prevent the screen from turning on for those 5 or so seconds when you plug it in :(

And Happy New Year to you as well.
