dont know what CM devs need .

coz, Galaxy Y is a very popular phone now a days, and its hardware is also good.

why they are not making a ROM for it after this much votes??

Some developers tried to develop cm7 but some bugs need to fix. rather then not making cm7 from beginning try to help us following thread :

Few Bug Reports too :
01. Lock Screen Bug - When i press lock button, the LCD don't turned off and it shows white screen only.
02. Auto Rotation Bug - When u check the auto-rotation, it will go horizontal and acceleration-meter don't work, but when you unchecked it, it will go back to the normal display.
03. Camera - Force-close.
04. Gallery - Working but, its too Leggy.
05. Brightness - Not working even you select lower brightness. it will stay at the higher brightness.
06. Not found - Base-band and all connections except USB.
07. Battery - Shows 1% even it is more then 80%. once you off the phone and start charging the charging logo has been freeze.
08. Notification Bar - Leggy when you pull it down.
09. Graphic Driver not found.
10. GPS not found.
11. WiFi not found.
12. Sound not found.

Galaxy y has better specs than Galaxy mini but they port that rom to that unit?
