AD2P is working fine and bluetooth hand free is fine. I fixed wifi in the latest commit

Please elaborate on the MMS problem you're having. The dev team has not been able to reproduce any.
WiFi - we've also had reports about that, but all of our phones work fine with wifi.
Bluetooth - I haven't tried any phone-to-phone connections, but it does work with my hansdfree kit. I'll look at the other profiles.
Flashlight toggle - pretty low priority, but worth looking into. I keep the Torch widget on one of my screens for toggling.
Smiley button - and, related, .com button - These appear to require some Touchwiz-specific customizations. We don't currently have any plans to hack their functionality into CM. This may change. Or not. Depending on motivation and resources.
Camera button doesn't wake the phone if you wait at least 15 seconds before hitting it after the phone suspends.
LED - "funky" how? It lights when battery is low, or when a notification is waiting, or when battery is full. What else are you expecting?
Camera video recording - What do you mean here? It works on both of my Epics, as well as the other devs'.

There is some preliminary work being done toward this goal, but we're still ironing out a lot of things.

Is anyone able to get 4G running, I've tried to find some info on this and I saw some comments about another phone that said you needed to go into the settings to turn it on but I don't see a 4G option under Settings=>Wireless & Networks, am I looking in the wrong place?

Yes, like the wrong ROM entirely!  Working 4G would require A) Samsung to release the full source code, specifically for the WiMAX driver; or B) the Epic CM devs would have to reverse engineer the drivers, which is a massive undertaking and a much lower priority than other stuff CM-related.  Most Epic users don't have 4G in their area anyway, which also lowers the priority.

So does that mean 4G isn't likely coming for the Epic?  It does for other devices right?  Like the EVO 4G?

I tried to read up on what was "missing" in this ROM before I flashed and that wasn't notated so I just want to know what I can expect for this phone.  I am new to flashing ROMs so I still may be missing something but 4G works very well where I live and I'm not sure I want to give it up just for Cyanogen but I may be able to switch up phones with my wife.  Is there a listing that shows what won't work.

Thanks so much for the help!

From http://forum.cyanoge...amsung-epic-4g/:
"The current buglist:
WiFi Hotspot is broken. Third-party apps are known to work.
Charging notification LED does not light until full charge is reached
Wimax"

WiMAX is on the list of things to be addressed, but is very low priority. Current focus is on squashing bugs in already-implemented features, and preparing for ICS.

I use Go SMS Pro and I have to go back to the list of messages from all contacts, then select the contact who sent me the MMS in order to get it to load. Perhaps you could try something similar in whatever app you use?

Hello, thanks for the great work bringing the CM to the Epic 4g, these are the bugs that I think I found on the RC 0:
  • Display Automatic brightness is not working
  • Camera : If you turn off the screen (power button) and turn on screen , unlock the phone some times the camera viewer keeps black it may be the overlays because if you press the camera button the photo gets taken and the image comes back.
  • Also found some bug on the MMS as I received a messange from my carrier (I don't remember from witch number the carrier sends those messages but they my come from a *256 or 254 phone number) and when I receive the message on the phone it appears as the message  was sended from my first contact on my phone.
  • Phone application does not seem to rotate when phone is in landscape and keyboard is closed (on the tabs Phone, Call Log, Contacts and Favorites) , but if you open the keyboard it is rotated correctly, it does not seems as a lag on the rotation, it just refuses to rotate on those screens... but if you drill down on some contact the rotation works as expected.
  • I dont know if is by design the applications does not seems to auto close after some time (on stock after some time on lock screen the application seems to close and you go back to home screen) and on CM RC0 it keeps the app open...
  • Also I don't know if it is by design, when in a phone call, on landscape, the photo overlays seems wrong as buttons are over the image and name...
Hope this help getting a better CM for all....

I am not finding this to be true as of yesterday's nightly build, nor any or the other previous versions (including RC0). I even suspended the phone and counted slowly to 20 and tried the camera button and it still work my phone up.

Sorry to ask, but I cannot find the changelog for the latest nightly build 1-02-12. Could someone give me a link so I won't have to ask this over and over again? I checked in UberPinguin's nightly thread, but the changelog hasn't been updated.

Thanks.

I'm having no issues connecting to wifi on the current nightly, but I noticed something mentioned about native tethering now working and flashlight toggle working, but neither are. Tethering doesn't show up in settings and flashlight toggle is still greyed out. Video recording is still borked as well (only when recording in hq, lq works flawlessly). Every video I record in hq plays back with visual freezes and lost/funky audio in random spots of the video. I've fresh installed, several times, and formatted my sd as well just to be sure.

Thanks, my bad, I scanned that list (so at least I was in the right place) but looked for 4G not WIMAX, bit of a brain freeze there.  I'll check out some other phone options then, I really like Cyanogen and don't want to give it up.

WiFi - we've also had reports about that, but all of our phones work fine with wifi.

I've had great WiFi on builds 12/10- 1/1.  Today I installed CleanGB to get my PRL updated.  My CM7 nandroid didn't restore so I installed cm_epicmtd_full_3.zip fresh after a wipe.  I couldn't get WiFi to stay on.  I removed wpa_supplicant.conf again and rebooted and that didn't help.  I restored my apps and settings with Ti and rebooted and still couldn't get WiFi up even after toggling a few times.  More reboots and toggles and same result.  Paste bin of logcats: http://pastebin.com/YbDaNXL5 and http://pastebin.com/tkdHnAL7 (from separate attempts/reboots)  I even restored wpa_supplicant.conf from flashable zip just to see if I pulled it too soon.  lol  No joy.
