It very much is... I've encountered very few bugs, and even those are bugs that almost no one else seems to be experiencing.

Randomly today running the latest nightly (which I've been using since its release), my battery has discharged from 100% to 5% in only 3 and a half hours. Any idea what's going on? This is completely not normal. Data, wifi, and gps are all enabled, brightness is set to automatic, as usual, and it usually drains in about 10 hours of moderate use. I've only done about an hour of wi-fi web browsing and an hour of offline music. When I check battery usage, nothing is high except for display, at 71% (which seems normal). In the past 30 minutes alone, it's discharged 20% sitting in my pocket, and no background apps are eating anything. Ideas?

Check sensor usage. Mine did this the other day and camera was listed in there as being on for 4 hours straight. I killed the camera app and gallery and everything seemed to work itself out.

i did, Nothing seemed out of place. .. only display was shown as significantly high. and i didn't use the camera at all since booting, so no idea why it would randomly turn on.

Idk, I haven't used mine in months, or really at all since I bought the phone, and it was on. It was in the sensor section of battery history in spare parts, not the battery use in settings.

Cool, let me know what you find. That battery info is usually much more helpful than the standard one in the settings.

Well, I couldn't find anything because the only options were "since boot", "since last unplugged", and "all time", and since this happened a couple days back (many boots and unplugs ago) I have no way of seeing that specific info. >.<

Already did that. Whatever was draining the battery in the first place had no effect, and my battery lasted quite long as it normally does.

Sorry to hear about the battery issues. I actually just moved back to CM7 as CM9 could not get me through one day without multiple recharges.

If it happens again, make sure you check there to see whats causing it. If you notice anything higher than it should be, it could be a rare bug or an app that is keeping something in use.
