Ok first of all I did do a search of about every forum I could think of for this issue and none answered what the issue is or how to fix it other than downloading a lock screen app.
After loading up cm7 using the latest nightly build #20 I no longer have a screen lock. When I hit the fingerprint scanner button that would normally close my screen and then hit it again to rewake the phone there is no screen lock.. It just opens the phone right back up.
Is there some secret to get his working with out using a third party app?

miraculously the lock screen has reappeared.. Mods can close this.. thanks.

If you had previously downloaded a lock screen app and had that active, the CM Lockscreen deactivates till after you deactive the app and restart the device.
