Hey Guys,

my Galaxy S or lets say the AWD Launcher crashed yesterday and the phone shut down. To get it restarted i have to hold down the power button for ~5sec(if i dont it seems it is still running and eating battery, also getting hot). Evertime i try to restart, it is crashing after the "rotating arrow animation"....its also stocking there a lot. I have tried to wipe the cache and just tried to flash the newest nightly (181),both without success :(

I havent tried to restore an older backup until now, because then i will loose data, right?

What else could i try?! Or where is the failure? Is there maybe a diagnostic mode where i can see at which step it is crashing?

Thanks and regards
CeeS

EDIT: I can reach the unlock screen when i'm pressing the power button meanwhile the rotating animation, but i can not do anything there, i just see some massages at the top like preparing sd card. But it still crashes after a few seconds.....
