Hello, I was wondering if and when the Droid Bionic will get blessed with Cyanogen Mod? It would be great because I've flashed them on older phones I've owned and want more of it for my phone. Thanks!! GO TEAM GM!!!

Currently I have not seen any Announcement stating that Cyanogenmod will actively suppor the Bionic, however I do know that unofficial work is in progress. Currently I would recommend against using Cyanogenmod and other custom roms on the device because The best experience of these roms is Alpha at best, and this means that the user experience will definitely need work. Currently some of the major features that Users would actively use are not active ( Like 3G/4G data and Camera for some of the mods).
However, if that doesn't detour you, please look at xda-developers and rootzwiki for more information. Currently a CM9 based mod is in the works called ICS4BIONIC ( Android 4.x tree) is being actively developed by dhacker29. Also, I would probably wait a few months until the Official Motorola release of android 4.x appears, because this will provide much better support overall for the custom roms scene on the Android 4.x base for the Droid Bionic.

Actually Eclipse 2.1 is very good, I haven't noticed any problems. The ICS ROM for the Bionic are almost good. They just seem to be missing support for the camera and 3G/4G data.
The negative reviews of the Bionic and the available ROM's seem to be exaggerated in many cases.

Oh to have some official CM9 support for this phone. I'm stuck with it because the Atrix II is too expensive and this is the best phone I could get without a contract that works with Intuit GoPayment's card readers.

As long as the bootloader is locked and some functions like video recording and bluetooth aren't working properly there won't be any official CM support. Try the unofficial version from droidhive.com. Install with safestrap and if you don't like it it's easy and fast to switch back to stock.
