Hi All,

I have a Droid 1 w/ CM7 and when I receive an SMS the phone will not vibrate.  Default SMS messaging app.  This is on both silent (vibrate only) and normal modes.
This is on both cm 7.1.0 and nightly 253.  The LED and notification bar and ringtone are both working correctly for SMSs.

I've searched extensively and here are all the things I've tried (various combos, and the full set together):

• Messaging -> Settings -> Notifications -> Vibrate = Always
  
• Settings -> Sound -> Vibrate = Always
  
• Messaging -> Settings -> Notifications -> Notification ringtone = Settings-> Sound -> Notification ringtone
  
• Settings -> Profiles -> Default -> SMS -> Notification = On; Vibrate = On
  
• Upgrade to latest nightly (sm_sholes_full-253.zip) with full wipe of data and cache!
  
• Power Widget -- change modes to cycle through vibrate+silent and try all modes (ring,vibrate,silent).   SMS never vibrates on any of them

I know the vibrator works because it buzzes for haptic feedback and when going into silent/vibrate mode.

Any ideas folks?  I'm at my wits' end and I keep missing texts while at work.

Yup, I installed this "patch" : http://roms.miui.us/   (mild humor intended).     But in all seriousness, it works w/ that ROM, so it's definitely a software issue.
