This started happening months ago.

I have been using the CM7 stable for a while until one day a reboot wiped all data. After formatting and restoring all my info, it happened a week later. I realized that sometimes when I reboot my phone after it seemingly wiped my data, my information will come back. (Example: Reboot -> Phone looks formatted -> Reboot and pray -> Phone is back to normal.)

After further research, I believe that there are issues in the data partition, since the formatting issue seems to be consistent with issues mounting the data partition in clockwork mod.

Up until yesterday, it occurred weekly at least once. I decided to try to fix it by SBFing a the original unlocked rom, which although taking a full day and almost bricking my phone, did not fix it.

In my many attempts to fix the problem yesterday, I installed the stock rom through fastboot. While runing the stock rom, I didn't encounter any such problem. Right when I switched over to a CM7 rom, every other reboot would have issues with my data.

Today, after finally getting my phone working again, I installed the neutrino rom which is a very light version of cm7. About an hour ago, when I decided to reboot my phone, the same problem occured. I proceeded to reboot the 2nd time and my data came back.

For now I'm going to try my best not to reboot my phone at all. Can anyone help me with this? I can clarify any of the steps I've taken in reply as this post is wordy enough and no one seems to reply on xda.
