Hi all,
I am curious on your reactions to the various radio versions. I seem to recall flashing my radio to the latest version last year, and since then the battery drains much faster. Is this from the radio itself? Also, does the actual radio driver have any impact on WiFi and WCDMA reception and stability? My Wireless drops out every now and then, and the same goes with the 3G signal.
So, my question is, what radio is the best one for a HTC Hero GSM?
Cheers,
Chris

From my experience, it's based on where you are. Different locations best with different baseband.
Yes. Radio does affect the performance of Wifi, reception and data connectivity. But whether it affects battery performance, I'm not sure but I don't think so.
