This blade is GSM/WCDMA. RAM is 256 Mb.I installed cm7.1.0 and camera is not working after cm. I was misleaded by websites showing this phones specs that it has 512 MB but not. I got like 20-40 mb of free ram so phone is slow even in basic games:-( I can't restore back to its original stock Rom also as its not working(phone got hanged in overclocking n I pulled the batt, started up,screen not responding to touch, i was in panic don kno wat to do just hit the ftm mode n wipe data n factory reset and phone is ok but lost the original stock Rom in the process.now what I want is to repartition by flashing tpt firmware to increase the ram size but it warns about bricking the phone if its China versions, cdma types also included. Mine is wdcma/GSM so is it same as cdma n how do I know this rebranded 'idea blade ' doesn't belong to those mention in the warning list. And lastly is there a way to get back or download my stock Rom? Plizz guys help me

try modaco fourm too, if its any help an idea blade owner has posted on modaco that Moldovan-Mile-High-Mountain-Pie-RLS9 and M-MHMP-RLS9-Swedish-Stock-Kernel-Gen2.zip has worked for him including camera. hope it helps

I really loved cyanogen mod when it worked on my idea zte blade (though the camera didnt work) Then i overclocked the phone, got stucked ,removed battery touch screen stopped working... now iam using MMHM it is a realy good ROM but i like cyanogen too.
can i expect cyanogen releases for this version of blade????

and do u have any idea to download the stock rom that came with this phone( idea blade 2.2 froyo in case i want restore back)?

buddy how much free ram do u got? is this blade chinese version or European like dell xcd35? i really want to increase my ram..

I cannot do nandroid Backup.
When i go into CWM
I get errors like
E:\cant find misc
e:Cant mount /cache
e:Cant mount /system
Cannot format partition as well as cannot do factory reset also
Please HElp...!

You need to use special recovery image as recovery for other European models don't work here. You can download ClockworkMod for V880 i.e. Idea Blade from http://dl.dbank.com/c0sw12amzu
It worked perfectly for me. Even I had similar problem with recovery earlier.
