Everyone of us got a dad or a mom or a brother or a friend whom we are not used to refer to by name and surname, but rather by nickname.
The problem is that, if you want to fill contact fields in stock contact app by their meaning (putting name in name field, surname in surname field and nickname in nickname field) you will have all your contact listed for name and surname and nickname is absolutely not taken into account.
There's an option to order list by "name surname" or by "surname, name", would it be nice if you can add there a checkbox option to "show nickname instead if there's one".
So that contacts who got a nickname are listed by their nicknames, and the ones who don't have it are listed according to the existing option.
Am I the only one feeling that this is an important setting? This way contacts will also merge together better because their name and surname will be there to merge with facebook and gmail, but they will be hidden if you are not used to use them.
If you are going to add this option I'm going to thank you forever!
