Hi all,
Here is a quick intro on me before I ask my question.
Avid user of free software, I am used to flashing kernels for many years (10 years) on all kinds of equipment (wireless routers, servers with proprietery system...) so I decided to try to flash my phone:)
I read a lot of resources before I started yesterday.
I have the Xperia X10 mini and I wanted to change the stock rom to gingerbread. So I thought of miniCM7.
I got root privileges, the unlocked bootloader, installed E10_nAa-10_2.6.29.6-naa-10.ftf .
My original firmware was the 2.1 SE (stock). Everything went fine, I got the menu-based CWM Recovery v5.0.2.7
But when I try to flash a rom (2.1.8-miniCM7 or CoolFlame), I find myself in a bootloop.
I reflashed the kernel and retried the install but nothing changes.
Also, I did the wipe data / factory and the wipe cache things, everytime.
If anyone has any idea that could help I'm interested in hearing it.
Thank you in advance!

Hi,
I had the same problem... became crazy...
In fact, I thought my phone was rooted and it was not.
Installed ClockWorkMod, than tried MiniCM7-2.1.9 and my X10 Mini was always boot cycling.
So, I reinstalled StockRom, rooted the phone with SuperOneClic and then checked with "Root Validator" app to ensure that the phone was correctly rooted. After that, I retried to install ClockWorkMod and MiniCM7-2.1.9. Now, it works perfectly.
(I use the nAa Kernel "2.6.29.6-nAa-11" that includes CWM-based Recovery v5.0.2.7 from which you can install the MiniCM7-2.1.9-robyn.zip ROM)
Hope it will help you.
