Hello everybody, I bought a motorola mb200 (dext) like one year ago  and I updated it in october to the lastest update I could. Before I did that, I backup up everything... but when I tried to restore the information, it didn't recognise my contacts. The problem was that all of them were sincronized with google, and my new update (I don't know why, because 2 friends had no problem with that, and I did exactly the same when I updated...) didnt let me use nothing related to google (so I lost losts of contacts, and never could use Market again).
This was a big problem because lots of stuff can only be downloaded through Market, but I wouldn't die because of that, so I didn't worry too much.

The real problem came three days ago ^^ when after some days asking me for a Whatsapp update, I tried to do it... I was sure it wasn't a virus or bug because everyone I asked went through the same... but it was uninstalled from my mobile. I tried with different ROMs but I can't find the way to make it work... I even tried to install 3 different versions of the app, but it's the same...

So, I came here to ask you for help. Firstly, about the Whatsapp problem (without it, I practically have an useless SmartPhone as I can't use the best (for me) app). And it'd be great if anyone could help me about the Google problem, but that's not the main issue^^ thank everybody for reading and helping me with this, I wouldn't have come if I had thought of any solution!

I have been having the same problem! I am using Desire HD and was on stock ROM until last week..whatsapp was working just perfect..but after flashing to Cyanogenmod 7.1.. im able to install the app.. but unable to sign in and register.. i get an error that says "check the network"..its obvious my network is working fine!

dont move the app to SD card.. uninstall & reinstall or move it back to the phone memory.. it worked fine for me..

WhatsApp will not work if you move it to your SD.
