Hello everybody.
Here is my problem .. Ive got an Optimus 3D with the CM7 1.5 Vengeance MOD. Everything went well after installing, its great.
However, I came to the conclusion that I need to clean my SDcards. Internal and External .. so I went and do just that.
I completely wiped both SDcards .. and now (ofcourse.. duh) the phone does not boot up anymore.
Ithought it could do something with the stuff stored in the phone memory maybe like starting CWM or something to install a new rom, but it doesnt do anthingy .. its not making any noise and not giving any light when pressing any or holding any button. It doesnt react on charging or USB connection. Only when I hold VOL UP button and connect it to the PC I get a weird USB connect/disconnect noise, the whole time. It only stops when I physically disconnect the phone.
So anybody, any ideas? It would be much appreciated.. really.
Greetings, and thanks in advance.
Mike

Thanks alot for your time to reply! The problem's really killing me..
However it wont go on.. Maybe because everything is deleted and it has nothing to boot up?
I want to try to get a copy of another SDcard with the android files allready installed, see if that boots up my phone.
Sad enough I dont know anyone with an O3D I need it to backup an SDcard with it so I can send the files over to my SDcard and hopefully it would boot up my phone..

I hope it does. Else you have to take it to LG Mobile Services.

These symptoms sounds like a hardware issue. Things like the charging light and power-on lights happen before any software is run. My guess is that you have a fried battery or power subsystem.
I know you said it started right when you wiped the SDcard, however, correlation does not equal causation. It may be a coincidence that the two events happened at the same time.
Try holding the power button down for a long time... 10 secs or so. Does that cause any lights to come on (even for a brief moment)?
Please let us know if you make any further progress...

If the lights just blink even once (for a second), then its a semi brick and can be fixed by you but if they don't then you have to carry it to service center (last option)
And if you do so, make sure to tell them that its just not switching on after charging. Try and make them believe that you are no less then a fool. (Don't even dare to tell them of root)
Just keep it clean and simple as i said above and they will fix it

Thanks for the replies guys, that the battery died didn't even cross my mind. However the lights still wont turn on, so I believe you.
Could I also try another battery? Will that maybe fix it? I'll buy one and see what happens. If nothing happens I can still send it out for repair.
Thanks again

No, that's not the fix.
Now when you take it to the service center; they will replace the IC (hardware) OR they will repair it using their own Softwares.
I advise you just to take it to them
