The following thread can be used to post radio updates for the atrix. I'll start out with the two most recent AT&T radios to date, but note that I just compiled the 1.77.37p radio, and it works fine for me, but you should report back if it gives you any trouble.

Personal experience - I'm staying on the 37p radio even though 36p seemed to have a higher power output and signal. This could have just been a placebo effect so test both yourself.

Flash all radio zips through CWM in the same manner that you installed cyanogenmod. No wipes are needed.

I'm using the 1.77.37p radio and I seem to have really really slow data speeds (sometimes non-existant).

When I installed CM7 (the nightly 38) it erased my APNs and put in one generic one (it used to have 4). I'm noticing that when I don't have wifi, my data speed is extremely slow and often times won't connect at all.

Suggestions? This is the first time I've installed a ROM, but I'm pretty sure everything was done correctly (seeing as I have a working phone in pretty much all regards except the data speed thing).

Thanks

I'll assume you're using the device on AT&T? You can try to use the 36p radio or the .91 radio which is floating around (I need to pull it and add it to our own list soon too)

if neither helps, try some more obscure radios if you'd like. Otherwise you can try other nightlies/weekly builds/other roms in general and see if the issue persists.

I'm personally still on 37p and havent had data speed issues, but radios are a very finicky business.

I rolled back to the 36p and wow, what a difference. Better speeds than I had even before CM7. Thanks for the suggestion (not sure why I didn't think of trying a different radio myself. Kind of assumed the latest would be the best).

A  google search is your best bet for more info, but in general a radio update is a software set that tells the phone how to operate its antenna, Wi-Fi, bluetooth etc. It is usually unnecessary to change/update if your current one is not giving you a problem, and is never updated when installing a rom. These particular ones are installed right from clockworkmod recovery.
