I watched some how-to videos on youtube and I'm following the instructions at
http://wiki.cyanogen...ll_Update_Guide

Have the uNooter image on the SD card, got through putting in on the nook, disconnected Nook from my PC, was able to access the alternate start screen and selected RomManager.

When I select "Flash ClockworkMod Recovery" I get an alert box "Error while downloading from server. Please make sure that you have a stable internet connection and that your SD cards is inserted and has free space."

Nothing in the docs says you have to have a working internet connection and the videos didn't show anyone going online either. Am I stuck if I can't get online during the rooting process?
