Cyanogenmod7 stuck/stalled on 60% installation on boot screen?

Can anyone help, ive searched thread all night..

I have htc aria 2.1, downloaded cyanogenmod rom from cyanogenmod.com latest update.zip
put on my SD Card
wiped cache/data/dalvik cache/ install from zip..

get "Installing Update..." at the bottom of the boot screen of ClockWorkRecovery 2.5.01.   with the percentage % installed bar in yellow...
it seems to be stuck on like 60% been that way for over 20mins and never finishes.. whawt is wrong? :((

how reliable is your download file.  Did you try from a PC and transfer it to a sd card?

Then access it from your phone?

Any time i have a stall during install,  i remove the battery let it sit download another copy of the ROM so that i have a another copy to try again.
