Sounds on EVO 4G

I have an HTC EVO 4G with Mod Version 7-10162011, Build GWK74.  I cannot get my phone to use my custom ring tones and it defaults to a Siren which is not shown as a ringtone.  It also sounds this ringtone when I miss a call.  It is quite disturbing and would like to rid myself of this sound and go back to my custom and downloaded ringtones.  My Contacts show the downloaded ringtones but they do not sound as this siren takes over and prevents it.  How do I get back to my custom and downloaded ringtones for my phone.  Please advise.  Thank you.
