Try updating to the 4/22 Nightly.  They had several MAP Profile features for bluetooth audio streaming added in.  I don't have bluetooth in my car to use to check, but over on XDA, people have been saying this has helped with Ford Sync and other stereo's.

I am able to link my Gnex to my pioneer AVIC stereo on the 4/18 build.  I actually came to ask about AVRCP 1.3 support.  I have seen bits and pieces floating around about CM9 supporting AVRCP 1.3 or track tag data over bluetooth audio, however I am unable to get this to work.  Has anyone been successful in displaying track name/artist/album over bluetooth with CM9 on Toro?

Yes.  I have a 2012 BMW and I can stream & display artist/track/album info.  Also Message Access Profile works now, so I can read/listen to text messages on the car's display or speakers.  It's sweet.

I've been having this problem since the 4/17 nightly it hasn't gone away since flashing the latest nightly (4/27). Notification sounds can be set in apps like calendar, gmail, or messages but they will be ignored. All will use the default sound set in the setting's sound page. Is anyone else having this issue or know of a fix?

I've found the reason for the problem I was having and felt it should be shared since it is not obvious. I was using profiles (in Settings -> Profiles) to manage my power and radio overrides. Looking a bit more into profiles, it also has overrides for apps, notifications, and which notification is used. What I did was turn all these notification overrides to no override and now my per app settings are not modified when I switch profiles.

The issue of how to get this knowledge to people is still a concern as until I digged into this, I had no idea why my default notification setting was being used for all notifications.

@Thomas I have a 2011 FJ Cruiser with the stock JBL stereo and I also have problems with Bluetooth audio. The stock music player works fine but Spotify does not. The weirdest part though, is if I start a track with the stock app and then open spotify the music from spotify will play for a couple of seconds and then stop. Definitely a bug.

How is signal stability? I wanted to wait until a release candidate before flashing but I'm running the leaked 4.0.4 and it will just drop data out of nowhere even though it says I have signal. I have to switch into airplane mode and back to fix it. It's getting pretty annoying so I was wondering how CM is behaving.

How about an ETA with an update on those newly-released Verizon radios?

Anyway to change the color of the on screen navigation buttons?  That's been on all the other ROMs I've tried and now the white looks weird.
Also, activating any tether options causes "settings" to crash.  Anyone else having that problem?
Running 20120502 nightly.

you can install the new radios whenever you want.  CM does not include or revert radios for this device during install.

If this is the case, does CM work 4.0.4 code into the OS. I cant quite get a grip on the alternate change logs, are the bolded items included, being worked on, or what? and what are the greyed out ones?

Also, what is the difference between the merge change log and the alternate change log? Are alternates those created by cm and merged just those taken from aosp?

And on the alternate change log, at the top it says to be included in the next nightly, yet the most up to date nightly on there is not the most up to date nightly, what does this mean?

What is the meaning of the tuna changes being stated under the toro nightlies on the changelog? Do they apply to the toro device as well?

Thanks, I'm new to CM, but have experience in Linux, so I know some stuff, just not that much about android or how it is represented here.
By the way, having tried many roms, I am loving CM, and it is nice to know that I am using a rom the creates a lot of the mods itself and doesn't take that much from others. However, I do feel that CM has quite the undertaking in supporting sooo many devices. It makes me weary as to how much attention is being paid to each individual one. I'm sure somebody knows better than me about this, but I'm guessing each device has its own devs under cm as well as cm has some base devs to work on the core.

yeah that has been reported on xda forums...  not sure anybody is trying to fix it per se since it is a 'nightly' they dont' want bug reports....

http://cm-nightlies....om/?device=toro will be all that is included in the most up to date nightly.  it's pretty self-explanatory i believe, the ones above are not yet merged into a nightly.  the gray ones are translational things.  check the 'hide translations' box on the right and most of the gray ones should disappear. [if i understand your question correctly]  never seen an alternate change log

tuna is the common branch between the galaxy nexus cdma and gsm.   they are some of the shared files.

I'm by no means an expert, but I'll try to answer what I can.

CM9 is built off of the AOSP project, which at this time is at 4.0.4.  Occasionally, the latest branch of code will be merged into the CM project, but that doesn't necessarily happen day of release (so when, say, IMM90Z shows up in AOSP, it might not be in CM for a while)

jjoonn answered your questions about the changelog site accurately, so i'll skip those.

as for your concerns about specific device support, don't worry! you're correct! each device has a maintainer who's focus is specifically on the individual devices.  Some folks might maintain a handful of devices, but the idea is that each device gets a person to kind of make sure things will work.

Ahh.  I've stopped using XDA for CM stuff.  Luckily, I remembered WiFi Tether got back into the Mark...  Play.
So changing the color of the on screen navigation button is by theme only I guess?

The softkey options have not been merged yet as they are still WIP.
They are on http://r.cyanogenmod.com for review if you want to track their status or add them to your own build.
Or just be patient for things to get ironed out :P

Well after not seeing this posted on here, is anyone having issues with with phone and computer where on MTP they aren't seeing all the files on their device? On my stock backup i see it but on CM9 (as of the update-cm-9-20120501 nightly) i can only see a partial file listing. This a bug or do i need to get out the baby powder and pimp slap my computer some?

Additional info: I've confirmed this on 2 different systems. Windows 7 64bit and Arch linux 64-bit. So this makes me think maybe that mtp index file isn't updating or something.

Is anyone having issues synching exchange calendars? All of my other calendars are synching just fine, except my work calendar.

Thanks,
