Here we go again! New version of CyanogenMod means a new nightly thread, but same old rules!

  • DO NOT: Post to the bug tracker
  • DO NOT: Open another thread (I will enforce this with temp bans)
  • DO NOT: Think of this as official forum support; this thread will be strictly user to user support. Don't expect CM-dev help.
** These CyanogenMod builds are highly experimental and unsupported.
**
** Please refrain from submitting bug reports for any issues
** you may encounter while running one of these builds.
**
** Submitting bug reports on nightly builds is the leading
** cause of male impotence.

As a quick question before I go flashing.  I have the 32GB version of the Wifi tablet.  The header for the Forum says specific to 16GB.  Should I avoid flashing this due to the 32GB version?

Thanks!
Miles

I was just coming on to find this out as well, guess it has been a few days with no reply?

Not yet Sadly.  I checked on the G+ page for GalaxyTab CM and they haven't responded to me yet either.  They are pretty busy with the modifications so I am not too worried about it.  The longer I wait the more stable things become.

There is MTP available which works for mass storage.

Settings > Storage
Click the menu button in the top right corner
Click USB computer connection
Select MTP

OK here's what I did to fix it.
I went back to the original recovery tar I loaded with odin. Then wiped data and cache and dalvik.
The flashed newest snapshot and gapps.
works like a charm.

What I'm seeing is the kang (sorry UNOFFICIAL BUILD) that you and I flashed left the wrong device ID and so you need start over at the beginning to get back in sync with the CM9 nightlies.
That is the laymans version. I'm sure one of the devs can give you the technical version.

So does this specific snapshot work for the 32GB version of the Galaxy Tab?  Also, are you seeing anything that might be a deal breaker?  I can live without my Camera and such for now.  Only thing I really ever used it for was Google Hangouts and those are few and far between.

It works fine on my 16.
If yours is a GT-P7510, I'd say go for it. IMHO the only difference is more RAM.

Standard disclaimers apply.

I can live without the camera too, but need the tablet for work and such, so I'm not willing to be the guinea pig on this one... but I am anxiously awaiting the result of someone trying this :)

Flashed the latest Snapshot just a short time ago... Restoring my apps and getting things going again at this point.  So far everything I have tried besides the camera works great.  I can't tell you how much I have looked forward to ICS on this device.  I will keep everyone updated on what I think.  Pretty smooth thus far! Keeping up with App Installation really well too!

Happy to say everything works great thus far.  I have reinstalled all my apps and set up my home screens again.  The system runs buttery smooth and I haven't seen much of a slow down. Bluetooth connection has been great.  My Logitech Keyboard still works perfectly.  Thumb Keyboard works great.  So far I haven't found an app that "Doesn't" work.  However, Youtube says its incompatible with our version.  Not sure why that is.  Other than that, Perfect!!

What was the original recovery you used?  The official v4.0.0.4 ... or 5.0.2.7 ...or 5.5.0.4?  I thought I tried all three, but maybe I just need another round of data, cache and dalvik wipes.  Here goes nothing... except my time.  Thanks, Joe.
