Good evening to you all. I ask the more experienced, you can make a port of INQ Cloud touch with stock ROM 2.2.2 Froyo with a Cyano 6 or higher? Thanks in advance.

The ZTE Skate and INQ Cloud Touch have the same processor (Qualcomm MSM7227).

  INQ:          http://www.mobilityf...le-froyo-1.html

There is a CyanogenMod 7 for ZTE Skate at Modaco: http://android.modac...e-updated-0601/

So you're saying that the CM7 for Skate goes well touch on the cloud? From the owner (at least by nickname) cloud touch you tried to install it on your end? Give us news! See you soon and thanks.

There are some issues with using fastboot on this phone, as it appears to use some kind of custom signing method that I don't think exists on any other phone. Easy to brick, and you have to send the phone off to INQ to get it fixed because there aren't any copies of the Canadian stock ROM online (including all the mysterious emulated partitions). I have lots more info if you want it :)

Using ADB can lock the phone.
Running the INQ software setup can brick it.

There may be new setup software at Getsatisfaction:

I bricked mine with the UK updater too... If you're on Koodo the easiest way to fix it is just to call them and ask for a priority replacement exchange. They charge $25 to your bill and send you a brand new phone in the mail. It's perfect because you get to keep the bricked one to play around with in fastboot mode.

Good luck with the getsatisfaction post, it is strange that there would be no updater for Canada. My phone ran 1.0.9, the updater for the UK is 1.0.2.3 and the Italian version is 1.1.8. I'm really surprised how different the regions are.

Honestly, I made this request to see a few people own more "practical" than I can perform a port to put this on our cloud Cyano great touch. I've flashed by fastboot the CWM 5.5 without problems ... But with the ROM I did not find adequate information. I hope we can make something move on the modding scene for this terminal. See you soon and thanks!

Dear inq I will not understand but just do not understand your link on phones that are not cloud-touch express what they want to communicate. I'm talking about porting cloud touch and want to understand your own links are somehow connected to it (porting). Itself might have found and implemented a flash ROM Cyano of some other phones on your cloud touch make us partakers. Translate with google taslate I apologize for mistakes. Thanks in advance.

This actually won't be too hard to do. I've never even used cyanogenmod before, but I wouldn't be surprised if I had a port ready by the end of the month.

Maybe someone could make a working port, it would be a source of pride for us owners! You say later this month, you know someone who is working on it? Let us know!

I'm working on it :). I already have cyanogenmod compiled but it just bootloops, so I guess its time for some debugging. I'll probably have something to test in a few days but it won't have stuff like audio, radio, opengl, etc. for a while.

Is there a chance I could have the serial number of your phone so that I can dump the Italian rom out of the updater? It will be necessary to get Cyanogenmod running on the Italian version as I have a Canadian phone.
