Hey all-
I've been having trouble making a data connection to my PC. I've done the following with no success,
-tried 6 or 8 different mini-USB cables and not been able to get a data connect with any (I could get a power connection with all),
-tried installing stable releases of CM that previously worked,
-tried cleaning the port with isopropyl alcohol and a fine brush,
-tried cleaning the port with compressed air,
-tried connecting to a WinXP machine...my daily driver is a linux box. Neither worked: both worked before.

When I plug the phone into the laptop I get the following message in my error log, "unable to enumerate a usb device on port 2".

Is there an HTC or Google USB driver in the phone that I may have corrupted?

Download the latest version of HTC Sync and that should give you the latest drivers. I'm not sure about your linux install though, I've never used the mass storage option when running linux. I'll be sure to try it when I get home. (Running Mint)
