Really don't know why the internet connection keeps dropping. Sometimes it works great, but then fails a few minutes later.

Yep. Followed the steps to a T multiple times. redownloaded the files incase I had a corrupt build etc etc. I'm still not able to install from CWM recovery. However, I tried download and installing from CWM app and I was successfully able to upgrade to the latest nightly.
Any help in getting flashing working from recovery would be appreciated. thanks

Maybe its a problem with your Provider?

To wake up from deep sleep take a bit more, but 4 seconds sounds allot. You timewatched it?

If you wipe data/cache, and also the dalvik cache before flash the new rom its almost guaranteed that you won't have problems with the new rom.
My self I always flash the data/cache partitions before installing a new rom and also after the new rom/gapps are installed. that way I can assure that my rom is stock before start to use it.
EDIT1:
Just installed latest nightly, great feedback again, phone seems a bit snappier and can't seem to have a small bug on it. As for Quadrant, the score has been improved, but still didn't get the same score I got with 0304 nighlty, so far has been the ROM on whitch
I got the highest Score.
Normal procedure for install wiped cache/data, wiped dalvik cache -> installed Rom -> installed GApps, wipe again on cache/data and everything seems to be working fine.
The only thing I notice on the late nightlies is the battery consumption is a bit higher.
