Yes, the latest release is pretty sexy after all. Unfortunately i cannot seem to find the setting for disabling the persistent search bar from the home screens. Anybody any idea? Or the cm guys took it out?

@appleheart Apex is better than stock? I have never used third party launchers on ICS, only on GB and below, i really don't feel the need for a third party. I am pretty sure that before this last version of nightly, the persistent search bar from the home screens could be removed using a setting. The same with adding/deleting home screens. Have you found how to add or delete home screens on the stock CM9 (i mean, stock launcher, not Apex or stuff)?

appleheart so i take it this new release is rock solid stable? Have you experienced any slows compared to CM 7.2?

CM7.2 seems faster than CM9 at least I see that on launcher... I tested only a couple of hours and in my opinion is stable but not like CM 7.2 remember CM9 still in nighly phase

CM9 seems to drain more battery power per hour ( cpu governor ? ) than CM7.2

but i agree it's pretty stable now and daily usable.

I'm very satisfied with the battery drain on the latest CM9 nightly, it gets me through the day with no effort while my cpu is overclocked at 1500 Mhz and 800 minimum. This is a decent battery drain, i may say. Any opinions on the 14 release?

Got CM9 514, just wondering how to sync this to my PC. Reinstalled drivers, still can't access my SD card.
