Hi,

I decided to root and flash my wife's X10 mini pro with CM7, so I rooted phone and became superuser and then, I followed instructions to load CM7. Unfortunately, something did not run properly, once the device had finished CM7 load, I rebooted it, but now it's stack on Sony Ericsson first screen and I have no option to access menus... neither clockworld one.

So, I need some support to try to recover that phone (i have on SD card a factory image) before my wife "kill me".

Thanks a lot in advance!!!!

Hi,

The Sony Ericsson Bootloop problem comes only when you have not unlocked the bootloader....

To recover your phone to the original Sony Ericsson ROM:

1. Install Sony Ericsson PC Companion in your computer.
2. Select "More" under "Support Zone".
3. Select "Repair". Accept and do next..... You will lose all the data from the internal memory only (nothing will be deleted from the memory card).
4. It will download and prepare your system for repair.
5. Select your phone from the list.
6. Switch Off the phone, keep the back button pressed and connect the phone to the computer.
7. The phone will be restored.

To install a custom ROM.....
Follow the basic steps below....
the link to the forum below that...

U can follow the same steps to flash any kernel and to install any ROM on ur device.....
Instructions:
  • Download the MiniCM7-xxx.zip from the release link that follows
  • Backup your /data contents: contacts, apps, sms, etc. or backup via recovery
  • Move the MiniCM7-xxx.zip to the root folder of your sdcard.
  • Unlock your bootloader, if you haven't already.
  • Flash the nAa kernel using Flashtool.
  • Once the nAa Kernel logo appears, press the back button repeatedly to enter CWM.
    - Select 'backup and restore -> Backup'
    - Select 'wipe data/factory reset' (RECOMMENDED)
    - Flash the MiniCM7-xxx.zip. To do this, Select 'install zip from sdcard -> choose zip from sdcard' and select the MiniCM7-xxx.zip
    - Flash gapps
  • Reboot (first boot will take ~4 mins)
