IHi I have one of my first visit in the forum. Today I intented to install the Clockworkmod Rec. using your method by Haindall and zadig. I install without problem the CWMR and the phone has rebooted without a problem. However, open the recovery screen free of restriction, but I can't exe3cute the opcion to wipe and later install any ROM. Later I install a Galaxys2root kernel's guys and later start the phone on GT-I9100 SGS2 screen. (I have no problem) I can testing the phone and working OK.
I intented later to start on recovery mode and the screen appear the damm Yellow Triangle that do not permit to do anything,  like is dead..!!

Can I made somthing to save the phone.??? Full appreciate any help

Without replacing the stock OS or modifying it, it will replace the custom recovery everytime you boot. Unfortunately I can't remember the file you need to replace and the sites I normally use to find it are blocked at work. Maybe some google searches will pull it up.

You either need to rename or delete /system/etc/install-recovery.sh

Then your recovery should stick.

Finally, I applied a root option, reboot and installed a original Stock kernel. It is survive..!!!!

Dude it sounds like you don't even own a GS2 why are you telling him to go delete system files (that don't even exist on the GS2). The recovery is part of the kernel on the GS2. You shouldn't be handing out advice on a phone you're not even familiar with, especially as far as the /system folder goes. Luckily those files aren't even there so this time the risk was none.

Not trying to be a **** or anything but some bodies gonna get some bad advice and brick something one of these days.

No, I don't own an S2. If you would look in my profile, you would see that I own a Nexus One (I have for over two years). That is the only phone Android phone that I have ever owned. I obviously can't have access to every Android phone. And yes, some phones are different (manufacturers have been sure to see to that). But the vast majority of Android phones utilize the method I mentioned above. If you don't remove those files, then the stock recovery is replaced back on the phone on the first boot. This is the first time that I have heard that the S2 doesn't support it, but I will make sure I remember it for future reference.

And as far as those files, they only perform one specific function in Android... to verify that the stock recovery is installed when the phone is booted up, and if it isn't, to reinstall it. If they are deleted, then it removes the OS's ability to rewrite the recovery. Obviously, since they are not on this device, then that wouldn't be the problem. I don't go telling people to delete files I know nothing about. Whether that be in the /system partition, the /data partition or any of the others.

And yes, you were trying to be a (whatever word was blocked). You come in this post and chew me out without even trying to help the OP (or any additional members that may run across the same issue). There are more professional ways of correcting someone's bad information. I try and help people on this forum because very few other people do. I have a lot of knowledge about Android in my head, and I share what I can. But I will not give someone advice that may possibly brick their phones without being informed on the topic. Any topics that talk about the radio/baseband on a device I am unfamiliar with, issues with booting on a dual boot device, etc, I will not respond to (or I will at least give them advice on other places they may seek help, if no one helps them here).

I am here to help people. If you aren't, I'd kindly ask you to leave. And if you'd rather I not help people in the Galaxy S2 forum since I don't own the phone, I would ask you to step up to the plate and provide the folks here with the help they require.
