IDK why I tried to flash an AGPS fix from XDA somewhere, it didn't help. What's going on?

I've got a rooted HTC Inpsire 4G on AT&T running CM 7.1

With the amount of info you gave, I don't know what is going on.

How about some symptoms, what you have tried to do to fix it, apps where the problem exists, if it is able to see any satellites, any log files, etc...

Certain cases have been notorious for causing GPS issues on the Inspire.  I had my Inspire for over a year before I rooted and had problems with GPS on stock with my original case I purchased.  After I replaced it my GPS has worked fine.  After installing CM 7.1 and the GPS fix, I tested my old case and still had the same issues so I keep using the other one.
