Hello, i'm new to cm9, just tried it today. loving it.
my question is, every day i notice new updates to the nightly builds, so if i want to update what to do?
do i have to reinstall all again? or is there a way to just update and no need to reintall the rom itself from scratch?
Thanks and keep with the good work.
Loving it....

Just install it through ROM Manager. It will keep everything else in place. It does literally reinstall the ROM, but all your apps stay in place, so you shouldn't lose anything.

... I always do a Dalvik and Cache wipe. Just to be sure
You will not loose any apps or settings by doing so.

I have done the updates as you said, only wiping the dalvik cache by rom manager defaults. all great till the update-cm-9-20120505-NIGHTLY.
Now i can't install titanium backup. first it was installed, but after the update it gave force closes, i removed it and now it says that i don't have space. the thing is i removed almost all my applications and it keep saying that. And i can install all the others again...
Any ideas????

CM9 is still an unfinished product. There are likely to be many changes from now until the final release. Sometimes those changes can cause issues with your phone. This is why for most users it is recommended to not run nightly builds.
But yes, most likely, the link that vonDuTch posted should allow you to reinstall Titanium Backup.

Thanks for the help. i found another one that was quickly. just delete a titanium file that was still on the system folder, and it resolved the problem.
Yes i know. But the wait kills me. i really like the new ICS...
