Hey guys, I'm double posting, but I really want to get this right quickly. I got CM9 514, just wondering how to sync this to my PC. I've reinstalled the drivers, but I still can't access my SD card.
That and I can't seem to pick up my home wifi, but I can in public areas.
How do I fix both these problems?

I haven't any issue with the usb mass storage function. Remember to enable it by settings-storage-soft menĂ¹ key- USB connection, and enable "Mass Storage". It works like a charm

OK, I got MTP working, but USB Mass Storage isn't. Keeps saying failed when installing drivers.

My PC keeps recognising the device as a MTP not as a mass storage device. How do I fix this?

That's what I did. But it wouldn't install. It just kept saying MTP driver - failed. When I set it to MTP, it said, LG-E730 available... I synced it on my TV as a USB, that seemed to recognise it. Just not on my PC. When I first synced it to my PC I did it as a MTP. Did that have anything to do with it? I've reinstalled drivers but it will only still pick up my phone as a MTP.

I've fixed it! Saw AppleHeart's post. If anyone else has this problem, go to Device manager, set your phone as USB mass storage device in settings, sync, right click the LG driver being displayed in the device manager, select update driver, then choose select from list, then select USB mass storage. Hit next and you're all good to go!

I think you have to "force" your system to recognise that it's not a MTP device, but a simple USB mass storage device..
Now I don't remember the "english" steps to do it, I've an italian windows installation.
I think is something like:
"Device Manager"
Right click on your MTP device not started/recognised (the one with the yellow danger signal on it)
Choose "Update driver" or something similar.
"Look for the driver inside my pc" (or similar)
"Manually choose driver from a list" (or similar)
Here you have to find and select the microsoft "USB mass storage" instead of MTP device.
I can't help you more than this, sorry.
On my Windows 7 installation it work as intended
Bye
