One X has been out for almost 2 months, and there already are 2 unofficial CM9 builds for One X with everything working so why isn't there an official one?.
I don't want to use the non-official one's built from source because it just isn't the same, I bet Galaxy S3 will get an official one before any of the One Series get one.

Because nobody has submitted the code to CM. All they are waiting for is a maintainer for the device. It sounds like intrepresentation on xda will be submitting his code to the codebase when it is fully working. TripNRaver, however, will not. He is keeping his code closed source.

I am waiting just like you for an official CM9. Hopefully we get one soon. And who knows how long it will take for the S3 to get CM. The same goes for that. We need a developer who is willing to code for the device. It took quite a while to get CM for the S2.

I'm looking for the same, but with the HTC Velocity 4g. The phone has so much potential, but sense ruins it
