First - anyone actually been able to do this without having to pay to get the bootloader unlocked?

Second - Any CM ports out there that really run well with the R800AT?  I see a lot for R800i and R800a, but not the AT  version.

Third - and this is me being a noob at flashing: why not use flashtool to flash CM? I can flash the OEM roms with no problem.  The files are FTF files and wondered if CM thought about using this approach to getting around the bootloader issue - initially...

Many thanks.  Just trying to get ICS for my phone since Sony pulled out of ICS support.

#1 and #2, I have no idea on, but #3 is probably impossible. The FTF files are probably signed by Sony and it probably doesn't allow you to flash unsigned (or incorrectly signed) packages. With all phones, this is the reason we need to replace the stock recovery with a 3rd-party one. One that allows updates from something other than the manufacturer.
