Can anyone confirm if the end call button on their headset works when used to pause music/end calls? Mine isn't.

Turns out that the end call button on my headset does not even register on the phone. I used an app called Key Test (google chris boyle github keytest apk) which gives a scancode when a key is pressed. I figured I could manually change the qwerty[dot]kl file to map the new key but there was no response when I used the end key. I tried with both stock and third party headsets to no avail. :\

yes, it's something strange. Mine doesn't work either (not for pausing music or taking/ending calls). I'll try the app tomorrow because my headset is at my work. I'll give you a sign, if I don't forget it..

Btw, do you calender and agenda button work?

In mine no one of this 3 buttons works: web, email and calendar.

You may want to post these issues on http://cyanogenmod.com/bugs so that they can try and fix them before the final release of 7.2.

I don't know what to attach for the logcat file, I mean the buttons don't work so I'm not sure what to include in the logcat text file

I would probably just try and cover the fact that it didn't even register a key-press on that app you used.

also, Issue # 5392 if anyone is experiencing ridiculous amounts of disturbance in calls using headset mic.

Love the amazing functionality that CM7 adds to this device... but the "phone" part of it has unfortunately been made worse LOL
