Hi,
the symbols in notification bar (3G, GPS, Wifi,..) look very very ugly... they don´t have full colors and look very cheap.
Also ADW-drawer doesn´t use all colors - so it really looks not nice.
regards, procx

CM hasn't ever included full colors on their icons. But it is all themeable. Check out CM7 themes on the playstore.
And I don't know what you mean by the drawer not using all colors. I have never had an issue with that. Does the issue exist if you use a 3rd-party launcher like Go Launcher EX?

Hi,
so CM doesn´t use all colors on each device? i thought it´s only a LG P500 problem.
Icons in ADW drawer look grainy - other launchers (e.g. launcher pro) look better.
But the notification-bar icons really are ugly - that nobody can deny.
I would love to see stock CM7 with a little more finetuning concerning the GUI.
CM9 is a big step forward concerning look&feel. But unfortunately for P500 some drivers are missing for hd-video playback or other things...

CM is called CyanogenMod. The basis of that being Cyan which is a light shade of blue. This is why most icons and color schemes in CM are light blue. If you want other colors, there are plenty of themes on the market for you to try.
And I have never seen any icons look grainy, in any launcher, so I am not sure why you would be having that issue on yours.

it´s not the color which i don´t like.
the cyan is nice and the green also... but the notification buttons are ugly - they don´t have a clear border...and look like created with microsoft paint.
and adw-launcher definitely has grainy icons (it uses only 32k colors or so...)...they look grainy - but in launcher pro it´s ok.
i can only speak about LG-P500...cause i tested CM7 only on that device...

Can you take a screenshot? Because I don't remember anything looking weird or poorly created on my N1 (I am at work with my HOX, and my N1 is at home). Same thing with the icons in the app drawer (preferably with a second image of an alternate launcher for comparison).

unfortunately i don´t have installed CM7 anymore... i think on N1 all things look fine - it´s a LG Optimus One problem...
I think mik_os @XDA said it´s because of performance problems with ADW on LG-P500.
So he disabled full-color support to make it faster...
I can install another launcher and other themes to make it look better - but i would prefer a clean stock CM7 ROM.
But these things are not my biggest problems... for me this one: http://forum.cyanoge...d-on-phone-call is more annoying.

my camera is too bad to show the difference... try it yourself.
you will see that drawer of ADW looks a little more grainy compared to launcher pro...
you will also see that the status-bar buttons have no sharp edges... they have a small white border (especially wifi-button)

basically they are ok but they look somehow pixelated or washed out (...hard to explain) - stock LG buttons are drawn a little more finer
