Thanks to the developers for making this happen. The ICS update released by T-Mobile is laggy and unimpressive. Great work Cyanogenmod!

Yeah this is running MUCH better than the T-mobile ICS. Mine has the "underwater" call sound, but I really could care less since I rarely call people. It's also easy enough to hear what I'm saying. I see on XDA they're currently working in it, though.

I also had CM7 on my MT3GS and I'm also very happy about this. Can't wait for more kernels to fully take advantage of the strength of Hercules.

I am absolutely loving CM on my Galaxy S2 but am having huge disappointment in data speeds. I've been bragged to about CM9 for a long time and have had it on my TP for a long time and love it.
Where I would once get 5-8MB/s down I am now getting 500KB/s and 6-8 MB/s up I am getting 600-700KB/s. Do I need to flash a new radio package to make it work better? I haven't noticed any voice quality but browsing is slower than it used to be.
Thanks for your hard work.

ICS uses different radios than GB. Don't know which ones CM is recommending, but there are some clockwork flashable ones from Telus, T-Mobile, and a few others here: forum (dot) xda-developers (dot) com (slash) showthread (dot) php?t=1426001
Good luck!

Tmo_SGH-T989_UVLE1_radio.zip from http://www.teamchops...all-guide.html. I am getting around 10 megabits down 1.5 up from the Houston area.

Hello
I have just got a contract t-mobile samsung s2 with GB on it and am interested in moving to ICS mainly because of the new camera features ( eg live effects such as zoom, more editing functions, time delay, full resolution picture taking while filming, much less shuter lag, etc)
There is a t-mobile/samsung stock ICS rom available through samsumg keis but there seems to be a lot of general criticism of it as far as I can tell, and it is not clear if you get these camera features.
I've tried searching to see if cyanogenMod's ICS build adds to GB's camera features but can't find anything.
Could people who have already moved to cyanogenMod ICS let me know what extra camera features, if any, this brings?
Cheers
