I am running CM7.1 on Cliq XT. If I search for talkatone app (VOIP w/ Google voice), it doesn't show up in the results. If I go to the play store app page from the browser, my phone is not listed as supported device. But the app is said to be available for Android 2.2 and up. CM7.1 seems to be Android 2.3.7, so why doesn't this app show up?
Groove IP app shows up fine for thiws phone when I search on play store.
Anyone else has any similar issue?
Thanks for the hard work on CM7 mods for this phone .. really appreciate it.

Did you modify your dpi at all? This can cause a lot of incompatibility issues with the playstore.

Curious, how do I modify dpi?
Anyways, for the mentioned problem, I mailed Talkatone support, and here is their reply:

If you cannot install the app from the Google Play this means your device does not meet minimal CPU requirements.

You may try the side loading apk on older/weaker devices ON YOUR OWN RISK with no guarantees regarding call quality etc:

I indeed went ahead and side-loaded talkatone app - but it was unusable. The voice quality was really bad. I guess I will have to wait for a better handset.
