After upgrading to the newest Mod I have been having difficulty using a special keyboard on my device. I downloaded Smart keyboard because the default keyboard does not support Icelandic.

After installing I enable by checking the box next to "Smart Keyboard Pro" in the "Language & keyboard settings"

How ever when I call up the keyboard with a long press on menu ore when it comes up when needed I always get the default android keyboard.

I'm not sure if this is a bug ore there is a new way of defining the default keyboard.

This was not as difficult in the previous version. How to I make my selected keyboard the default one?

You need to long press in a text entry area and select Input Method to select a different keyboard. You can have 30 keyboards enabled in the settings, and then freely switch between them when typing. FYI... this behavior has changed in ICS/CM9 and there is now a default keyboard option in the keyboard settings area.

That's strange sins this was not a problem in the previous version of CyanogenMod. If I chosen my keyboard and I expect to be able to set it as the default keyboard. They main reason I need this is because the default android keyboard dos not support Icelandic so I'm missing support for two important letters "Þ, þ" and "Ð, ð" (upper and lower case versions).

CM9 is not going to be available for Desire right?
