I just installed CM 7.2 (stable) on a few HTC Legend phones, only to find that with their radio, version 47.26.35.04_7.05.35.26L, the GPS does not work with CM 7.2 at all. When I start a program that tries to use the GPS, nothing happens. Not even the GPS icon appears in the status bar.

This is strange, because this is the radio version most newer HTC Legend phones come with.

I downgraded the radio to the next-older version I could find, 47.39.35.09_7.08.35.21. With this the GPS icon starts to blink, but never gets a fix. However, after I reboot the phone, it works. It still takes a relatively long time, at least a minute, to get a first fix, but works better afterwards.

This is a bad trap, because somebody who does not try the reboot trick may come to the wrong conclusion that this radio does not work with CM 7.2 and flash an unnecessarily old radio.

I have stopped testing and wanted to ask here first whether anybody has already done some more thorough tests with different radio versions and found which one works best, not only concerning the GPS, but also all the other radio functions. Which radio should I flash with CyanogenMod 7.2?

I have same issue here, I'm trying to install 47.54.35.20U_7.13.35.13 but no luck :(

ClockworkMod 5.0.2.0
Booting into Recovery > select "Install zip from SD-Card" > select folder&file >

I got these error messages

Amend scripting (update-script) is no longer supported.
Amend scripting was deprecated by Google in Android 1.5.
It was necessary to remove it when upgrading to the ClockworkMod 3.0 Gingerbread based recovery.
Please switch to Edify scripting (updater-script and update-binary) to create working update zip packages.
Installation aborted.

I have no idea what are these, tried to flash 2.5.0.7 CW recovery, installation failed. What should I do next?

I've finally get the icon appear on my status bar
1.Download the 47.39.35.09_7.08.35.21 radio here
http://wiki.cyanogen...pport_Downloads
2. I've downgraded to clockworksmod 2
http://www.4server.i...8w9/update.html
3. Install both of them
4. Reboot.

I had the same GPS issue, resolved by installing 47.39.35.09_7.08.35.21 radio. But I've recently noticed that the LED flash does not work when taking picture, even if flash is set to "active" in the camera configuration. Would you please tell me if you have the same issue and how to resolve this ?

Note that with CM 7.2 and original radio (47.26.35.04_7.05.35.26L) LED flash was working well...
Thanks..

I have tried installing  both 7.1 and 7.2 on my HTC Legend.
Unfortunately GPS did not work in any of the two releases..
GPS test shows no satelites at all.

The original HTC rom drains my battery way too fast, so I would rellay apreciate if this bug was solved.
