Hi everybody,

I'm using the latest stable version of CM7.2 at my Defy.
It is possible to add a quick-starter for one app to the lockscreen.
I would place the camera app there, but this is not available at the application list.
Only a few apps are listed there.
How can I add the camera app to this list to get it on the lockscreen?
I have already used google/forum search but I couldn't find any hints.

Which lockscreen style are you using?

I've got mine set to 'Ring' and the Custom app starter lets me choose plenty of apps, including the camera.

I've actually got a gesture set up to launch my camera from the lockscreen

Hi Toastcutter,

thanks for your reply!
I have tested all styles - actually I'm using the slider style.
I only have a choice of 16 apps, but i have installed more than100 apps on the phone (system apps not counted).
Gestures can be created only for Unlock / Ringtone-Mode / Next Track / Previous Track / Play,Pause / Flashlight / App Link (one of the the 16 apps).
I don't know how to get the other Apps to this selection. Already tried to reinstall the camera app, but it is still not listed.

Do you have any ideas?

That's odd.

If I create a new gesture, there's an "Action:" dropdown box at the top, and if I select "Shortcut or activity"
I'm then presented with a list of all my apps.

Do you have that option in the "Action:" list?

Just as a guess - my apps are all in system memory, I haven't moved any to the sd card. Are your missing apps
installed on the sd card by chance.

Hi Toastcutter,

only this 16 apps are listed under "Shortcut or activity".
Most of my apps are stored in the phone memory too.
I have restored all my apps using Titanium Backup, maybe that's the problem.
I will try to install some apps manually with the google play.
If this will not help I will try to do a wipe and reinstall CM7.2
I hope this will help to get the apps in this list.

Thanks!

Hi again,

after a wipe and reinstallation of CM now it's working.
